Anders Freyschuss announced as Chairman of the ECC Compliance Programme and Policy Commission (CPPC)

For another two years, Anders Freyschuss of the Camfil Group will be the Chairman of the ECC Compliance Programme and Policy Commission (CPPC).

The CPPC is the High Certification Committee of Eurovent Certita Certification. The main tasks of this committee are as follows:

  • Provide development guidance to ECC in line with the needs of the HVAC-R sector
  • Safeguard the impartiality of ECC
  • Approve the reference certification documents of the Eurovent Certified Performance (ECP) programs
  • Advise ECC in cases of disputes and appeals

“I am very proud to be leading the CPPC, the highest body within the Eurovent Certification, for another two years,” Freyschuss said. “Eurovent certification certifies products with over 40 programs within ventilation and cooling. Camfil is part of this since one of the progams is AirFilters.”

Freyschuss has been an active member of CPPC since 2009 and has been the chairman of this group since 2011. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Sustainability and Standards within Camfil AB in Stockholm, Sweden.

“Through the certification programs, which include testing of products, factory visits, etc., customers can trust the published data that comes from all of the suppliers that are part of the program,” Freyschuss said. “For example, through the energy rating system in some of the programs, we can help the customers select the best products from an energy and sustainability aspect which fits well with my responsibilities within the Camfil Group.”

The announcement of Freyschuss’ role as chairman was revealed on October 10, 2017 in Paris, France.
